Not The “Happiest Place” Anymore, A Massive Brawl At Disney World (VIDEO)

The founder of Disneyland, Walt Disney, wanted to create media and theme parks that would bring happiness to people across the land.

“To all that come to this happy place, welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future.”

Walt prior to his death on December 15, 1966, accomplished his goals, and billions of people have and continue to enjoy Disney’s efforts. 

As communities around the United States have declined, the idea of attending a positive place to escape the stress for a day seems to be ending. Some instead are now bringing their attitudes and problems into public settings, and sometimes act like they would back home on the block.

A new video has surfaced of a fight at “the most magical place on Earth” shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. A massive brawl erupted at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World, landing one person in the hospital.

Two families engaged in a throwdown at the theme park in Orlando, Florida. WOFL reported that the brawl took place inside Fantasyland behind Cinderella’s Castle and in front of Peter Pan’s Flight.

According to the blog Walt Disney World News Today:

The guest and their family were in line for Mickey’s PhilharMagic when one member realized their phone was left in their ECV (Electric Conveyance Vehicles), so she exited to retrieve it. On her way back in, the family in matching apparel denied to let her pass back to her family, pushing her back so they could let the line move a bit further along.

A shouting match ensued between the two families.

“Listen man, we don’t want trouble, we don’t appreciate you guys pushing my younger sister,” one family member told the other family.

Shortly after, the families got into a fight outside the theater.

A witness told WOFL, “We came upon it, and it appeared as though it took about two minutes for two security personnel to arrive. Deputies arrived probably about five minutes after that.”

Three people were arrested for misdemeanor battery. A man was hospitalized with a facial laceration.

A spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement, “Deputies conducted their investigation and subsequently arrested three people for misdemeanor battery. One person was taken to the hospital for a minor injury.”

This event follows previous violent outbursts between parkgoers.

In May, there was another fight at Walt Disney World when guests got into a brawl over standing locations for the fireworks. On May 9, a woman suffered a head injury after a woman reportedly grabbed another woman by her hair and dragged her to the ground in a dispute over personal space to watch fireworks, according to WOFL.

I learned years ago that the evil that manifests in the hearts and actions of sinners, goes with them wherever they go.

As local authorities have loosened the criminal penalties for committing violent acts and theft, etc, more and more outbursts like these will be seen in the days and years to come.

We the people must be wise in where we go and be prepared for who we might end up being around.
