The Christian is not merely a pardoned criminal; he or she is a beloved child brought near by grace. Adoption gives believers access, identity, inheritance, discipline, and belonging. This truth helps Christians fight fear, shame, loneliness, and spiritual insecurity. God is not a distant employer waiting to reject His people. He is a Father who loves, corrects, provides, and keeps His children. Adoption also changes how we view other believers. The church is not a religious event; it is the household of God.
