How Do I Handle a Rebellious Teen?

Teen rebellion is painful, but parents must resist two extremes: harsh control and passive surrender. Scripture calls parents to train, correct, instruct, and love. Rebellion should be addressed clearly, with appropriate boundaries and consequences. But parents must also guard their own hearts from anger, fear, pride, and image management. Keep communication open where possible. Pray persistently. Involve godly counsel when needed. Remember that only God can change the heart, but parents must remain faithful in their calling.
