Once again Democrat President Joe Biden proved to the 340 million Americans he is supposed to be looking out for, that he is in his own world.
Biden claimed that the COVID-19 pandemic is “over” during an interview with CBS’ “60 Minutes” on Sunday, sparking intense backlash from both conservative and liberal voices across social media who called out his administration’s recent mixed messaging.
The virus was first identified during an outbreak in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. Cases reached the United States in early 2020, which caused several states to shut down non-essential businesses and schools beginning in spring 2020.
Biden’s comments come as liberal states and cities continue to push for insane mask mandates.
For example, Philly schools required students and staff to wear masks for the first 10 days of the school year and then went mask-optional after that.
“The pandemic is over. We still have a problem with COVID, we’re still doing a lot of work on it, but the pandemic is over,” Biden told CBS correspondent Scott Pelley during his appearance.

The president’s words renewed criticism over his COVID emergency power usage, mask-wearing, and ongoing mask and vaccine mandates across the U.S., with conservatives slamming his alleged overreaching power and leftists criticizing the “irresponsible” claim.
National talk host Clay Travis chimed in:
Joe Biden says the covid pandemic is over. Left wingers are going to be furious at him for this, but this is also interesting because less than a month ago he justified canceling a trillion dollars in student loans by citing his covid emergency powers. pic.twitter.com/gSxsrynGNi

For the pro-vaccination mob that has continued pushing for draconian COVID measures to fight coronavirus infections, US President Joe Biden’s comments were disheartening and unscientific.
One of the top US health economists Dr. Eric Fegl-Ding took to Twitter to confront the US President’s ‘pandemic is over’ remark.
The toll of the COVID-19 pandemic has diminished significantly but still, almost 3,000 Americans are dying from COVID-19 every single week, the epidemiologist tweeted sharing a clip of Biden’s interview conducted with CBS’ “60 Minutes” program.
Heck no. With all due respect, @JoeBiden — you’re wrong. Pandemic is not over. Almost 3,000 Americans are dying from #COVID19 every single week.
A weekly 9/11 is a very big deal. Don’t even get me started on #LongCOVID—wreaking havoc on millions more. pic.twitter.com/p0dI3BE0oh

In a later tweet, the trigger epidemiologist and health economist, and Chief of Covid Task Force at the New England Complex Systems Institute, US continued his meltdown.
Holy crap— Biden was ad lib-ing??? ➡️"Biden’s insistence on Sunday night that the pandemic is over caught several of his own health officials by surprise. The declaration was not part of his planned remarks ahead of the “60 Minutes” interview" https://t.co/ITjtZRCdTf

Well since Joe doesn’t know what is happening, the rollercoaster ride we are stuck on for another 2 years will continue to make both sides of the aisle feel uneasy and sick to our stomachs, especially during the huge drops in our nation’s rapid decline.
