But here is the breathtaking promise tucked inside this verse: a renewed mind is not just cleaner thinking — it is the very instrument by which we discover God's will. The word 'prove' means to test and find genuine, like assaying gold. As our minds are shaped by Scripture, prayer, and the Spirit, we gain the capacity to recognize what is truly good, acceptable, and perfect — God's design for our one precious life.
