November is here, and with a new month often comes a fresh wave of decisions, worries, and unknowns we'd love to have figured out in advance. I've been sitting with today's verse all morning, and honestly, it feels like it was written for exactly this kind of moment. I'm so glad you're here with me today.

There is something beautifully freeing about releasing control — not into chaos, but into the hands of a God who sees everything you cannot. These ancient words from Proverbs carry that freedom, and I hope they settle into your heart today like a deep, steadying breath.
There is a quiet war that every believer fights daily — the tug-of-war between trusting God and trusting our own calculations. We are planners by nature, map-readers who like to see the road ahead. And yet God gently but firmly calls us to something deeper: whole-hearted trust. Not a nervous half-trust where we hand Him one worry while clutching the rest, but an all-in confidence anchored in who He truly is.
The second half of this promise is breathtaking in its simplicity. Acknowledge Him — in every path, every decision, every ordinary Tuesday morning — and He shall direct your steps. Not might. Not possibly. Shall. This is the language of certainty, spoken by the God who cannot lie and never fails. The race of faith is rarely run on a perfectly lit track, but our Guide knows every turn.

Take It With You
Today, before you make your next decision — big or small — pause and quietly acknowledge God in it, asking Him to lead rather than merely bless your own plans. That moment of surrender is where trust becomes real.

Prayer: Lord, I release my grip on what I think I know and place my next step fully in Your hands — lead me, and I will follow. Amen.

A Kindness to Share
Reach out today to someone who is facing a big, uncertain decision — a friend, family member, or colleague — and simply tell them you are praying for them and that you believe God has not forgotten them. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can offer is the reminder that they are not alone.
“Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11 (King James Version)
