Work existed before the fall, which means it is not a curse in itself. Sin makes work frustrating, but work remains a calling. Christians should reject laziness, dishonesty, entitlement, and workaholism. Whether paid or unpaid, public or private, impressive or ordinary, work can honor God when done faithfully. Your job is not your savior, identity, or final purpose. But it is one arena where you love neighbor, provide, serve, create, steward gifts, and witness to Christ through integrity.
