Thanks Biden! More Inflation and Shortages – Backlogged Cargo Ships Off Both Coasts Face 4-Week Wait
The Biden administration and progressive states governors’ mismanagement of the COVID “re-opening, will be felt for years to come.
Starting day one, Biden has been attacking the energy industry including killing the Keystone pipeline project with its estimated 45K jobs.
Blue states governors extended lockdowns resulting in tens of thousands of small businesses closing across California, New York, Illinois, Michigan ETC.
In addition, the Federal Reserve flooded the markets with cash, more rounds of COVID stimulus money were paid and millions of illegals aliens entered our nation also receiving financial assistance.
The net result of all these actions include
- Workers laid off due to COVID made more money on expanded unemployment than working.
- With a shortage of low-skilled workers, production on many household items came almost to a crawl.
- Inflation has skyrocketed as businesses are paying higher wages, including overtime, to get some employees back to work. Consumer pricing is way up especially fuel, meat, and housing.
In many growing cities the lack of workers is slowing home construction, trucking services, and the hiring of machine operators in multiple fields.

Dail Mail is reporting global supply chain is on the brink of collapse.
Cargo ships anchored off NY and LA face 4-WEEK wait to berth and trains in Chicago are backed up 25 miles with global supply chain on the brink of collapse: Americans face shortages of cars, shoes and exercise gear as holiday season looms.
Dozens of cargo ships anchored off the coasts of Los Angeles and New York face shocking wait times of up to four weeks and railyards and trucking routes are hopelessly clogged due to the lack of manpower to unload goods. Social distancing and mandatory quarantines severely limited the number and ability of port workers to do their jobs.
The backlog of billions of dollars of toys, clothing, electronics, vehicles, and furniture comes as the demand for consumer goods hit its highest point in history as consumers stay home instead of spending money on travel and entertainment.
‘Supply chains are the artery who feeds our entire ecosystem. The government needs to intervene to stop this crisis immediately, or face increased inflation and unemployment, and economic breakdown – or face an end to global trade.’
“Global infrastructure was not designed to handle goods at such a rate,” one expert on the situation told the Daily Mail. “Supply chains are the artery who feeds our entire ecosystem. The government needs to intervene to stop this crisis immediately, or face increased inflation and unemployment, and economic breakdown – or face an end to global trade.’
CBS Los Angeles is reporting up to 500,000 shipping containers are floating off the Southern California coast, with truck drivers waiting in line for hours to transport their scheduled shipments.
“I’ve got friends right now that are in line… from nine o’clock in the morning and they can’t pull the load yet,” truck driver Walter Martinez told CBS. “The people inside, they get paid by the hour, but not the drivers.”
This issue has the potential to significantly cripple the economy further and based on how poorly the Biden administration has performed the first nine months, I don’t see anything sensible or an effective plan coming out of DC anytime soon.
I pray I am wrong, but I am planning out my life accordingly.
