Karine Jean-Pierre Called Out By Peter Doocy Over 2016 Elections Denial Tweets
The bumbling, unprepared, and inept White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was called out by Fox News reporter Peter Doocy at Tuesday’s briefing over her tweets stating President Trump and Georgia Governor Brian Kemp stole their respective 2016 elections.
Doocy asked in the context of Joe Biden attacking ‘MAGA Republicans’ as 2020 election deniers.
DOOCY: "You tweeted in 2016 that Trump stole an election."
KJP: "I knew this was coming."
DOOCY: "If denying election results is extreme now, why wasn't it then?"
KJP: "That comparison that you made is just ridiculous." pic.twitter.com/EJyoykV1Ta

Doocy: “…the new attention on the MAGA Republicans, you tweeted…”
Jean-Pierre: “Oh, I knew this was coming!”
Doocy: “…in 2016 Trump stole an election. You tweeted…”
(Jean-Pierre tweeted on December 17, 2016, with no apparent context of voting rights, “Stolen emails, stolen drone, stolen election …..welcome to the world of #unpresidented Trump”)

Jean-Pierre: “I was waiting Peter when you were gonna ask me that question.
Doocy: “Well, here we go. You tweeted Trump stole an election. You tweeted Brian Kemp stole an election. If denying election results is extreme now, why wasn’t it then?”
(On March 12, 2019, Jean-Pierre said of the 2016 Georgia governor election in response to a comment claiming voter suppression and cheating, “Yes – the race was stolen.”)

Jean-Pierre: “Yeah, so, let’s let’s be really clear. That, that comparison you made is just ridiculous. I have been…”
Doocy: “No, it’s not ridiculous”
Jean-Pierre: “…You’re asking, you’re asking me a question, let me answer it.”
Doocy: “And you said it was ridiculous.”
Jean-Pierre: “I was, I was talking specifically at that time of what was happening with voting rights and the, what was in danger of voting rights, that’s what I was speaking to at the time.”
A year later on April 2, 2020, Jean-Pierre accused Kemp of stealing the election from Abrams, “Reminder: Brian Kemp stole the gubernatorial election from Georgians and Stacey Abrams.”

Well, this was another gotcha moment showing the hypocrisy on the left, but in general, leftists don’t care how about truth, instead only power and prestige for use in the far-left collective bubble.
