With zero expectations that the January 6th Committee was going to be anything more than a far-left witch hunt, I have not bothered to watch a single minute of it.
According to the news reports, former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson had some very damaging information, and she testified in front of the committee.
Hutchinson said that former President Trump tried to commandeer the presidential suburban during the January 6th riot, then became borderline violent when the Secret Service lead agent, Bobby Engel, tried to stop him.
Hutchinson did not experience this first hand, but second hand, reportedly from Tony Ornato, the current White House deputy chief of staff.
Ornato subsequently said that he did not say anything and expressed his willingness to testify to that under oath.
As the dust settles, it appears that things did not go very well for the attention-seeking 25-year-old.
BREAKING: Multiple sources including one who was at the WH on Jan 6 tell me Cipollone was not there in the am when Hutchinson testified she spoke with him. J6 Cmtes is aware of this discrepancy & are ignoring media inquiries about it. Seems she made up the entire conversation

Hours later, Peter Alexander of NBC News said that a source close to the Secret Service indicated that agent Bobby Engel will testify “under oath that neither man was assaulted and that Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel.”

Conservatives and Trump allies immediately pounced on the report, saying it completely destroys any credibility the January 6 show trial had hoped to retain.
January 6th Committee “witness” Cassidy Hutchinson basically claimed that President Trump was a Ninja.
The Media is saying that is a LIE.

With the threatened debunking of Hutchinson’s testimony under oath, the 25-year-old’s attorney, Jody Hunt of Alston & Bird, alleged Hutchinson simply recounted to the committee what she was told secondhand.
“Ms. Hutchinson testified, under oath, and recounted what she was told,” Hunt wrote. “Those with knowledge of the episode also should testify under oath.”

Looks like this wasn’t the only lie she told.
Rep. Liz Cheney displayed a handwritten note which Hutchinson testified she wrote after Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows handed her a note card and pen to take his dictation.
This claim has already been challenged publically.
Former Trump White House lawyer Eric Herschmann is claiming that a handwritten note regarding a potential statement for then-President Donald Trump to release during the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol was written by him during a meeting at the White House that afternoon, and not by the White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson, sources familiar with the matter tell ABC News.
“Anyone that has ever worked with Eric Herschmann knows that the handwriting on that note is his. Cassidy lied through her teeth and Liz Cheney knew she was lying.”

Sources familiar with the matter said that Herschmann had previously told the committee that he had penned the note.
Finally some push back to all the lies.
Cassidy Hutchinson appears to be a second-hand peddling RINO who has a vendetta against former President Trump.
According to Sean Davis with the Federalists, 14 days after the alleged dramatic events, Hutchinson was looking to work for Trump as he re-entered private life at his Florida Mar-a-Lago residence.
The corrupt J6 committee’s new SURPRISE WITNESS was so appalled by Trump and J6 that she…was planning to go work for Trump at his FL residence eight days *after* January 6 (article was published on January 14, 2021).

President Trump replied to her testimony on Truth Social:
Trump noted his impressions of Hutchinson, saying “I hardly know who this person, Cassidy Hutchinson, is, other than I heard very negative things about her (a total phony and ‘leaker’), and when she requested to go with certain others of the team to Florida after my having served a full term in office, I personally turned her request down.
