Islamic Terrorism In North Dakota! Shooter Kills, Injures Officers Responding To Accident
In the midst of the massive amount of legal and illegal immigrants entering the United States, the growing number of Muslims from nations whose governments have an adversarial relationship with our political leaders is staggering.
We now live in a country where we are marked as political terrorists for believing in the values of our founders, while the government brings in hundreds of thousands of Islamic refugees, often transforming heartland cities into Middle Eastern enclaves, as we are seeing in Europe.
Daniel Greenfield does a great job capturing the transformation of Fargo, a pattern we are seeing in many small-to-midsize cities throughout the south and Great Plains:
8% of Fargo is foreign born. Much of that population comes from the Middle East and Islamic areas in Africa like Sudan and Somalia. Even much of the European refugee contingent is Bosnian. The massive influx of refugee resettlement allowed local politicians to boast that Fargo was growing much faster than the rest of the state or the country.
Fargo’s population shot up from 74,000 in 1990 to 90,000 in 2000 to 128,000 today. Somalis flooded Fargo, as did Iraqis, Bosnians and Bangladeshis. Amid the pure snows rose mosques, ethnic welfare nonprofits, Halal markets and other outposts of the new population.
By 2000, six hundred Somali families occupied Fargo, by 2004, Somalis outnumbered Hispanics in the Fargo public school system. Refugee resettlement, led by Lutheran Social Services, continued bombarding the state with foreign migrants, 70% of them embedded into the Fargo area.
According to a Pew Research study:
Islam is the third largest religion in the United States (1%), behind Christianity and Judaism, equaling Buddhism and Hinduism percentage-wise. A 2017 study estimated that 3.45 million Muslims were living in the United States, about 1.1 percent of the total U.S. population.
By 2040, Muslims will replace Jews as the nation’s second-largest religious group after Christians. And by 2050, the U.S. Muslim population is projected to reach 8.1 million, or 2.1% of the nation’s total population — nearly twice the share of today.
As with the 9/11 and Boston Marathon attackers, there are others in their population who are would-be terrorists or fundamentalists that find justification in their religious writings to declare a Jihad against the West, the non-believing infidels.
So when a North Dakota police officer was shot dead and two others injured last Friday afternoon, and a civilian sustained serious injuries, the question of who the shooter was and why he did this evil has to be asked.
On Saturday afternoon, Fargo police released more information about the officers involved, including identifying the one who was killed.
Three officers were struck by gunfire. Their names are Jake Wallin, Andrew Dotas, and Tyler Hawes. Officer Zach Robinson, who was not injured, was also on the scene and shot and killed the suspect. One civilian was also hurt. Officers Dotas and Hawes are in critical but stable condition at Sanford Hospital in Fargo. Officer Wallin died from his injuries at the scene.
Fargo Police Chief David Zibolski said officers and the Fargo Fire Department responded to what was supposed to be a routine car crash on 25th Street South and 9th Avenue South in Fargo. That’s when the suspect, 37-year-old Mohamad Barakat, opened fire on them.
Barakat died of his injuries at a local healthcare facility. Police say he was taken down by Fargo police officer Zachary Robinson, who has been with the department for seven years. Robinson has been placed on administrative leave, which is standard in these cases.
“The events of the last 24 hours have been among the most difficult in our department’s nearly 150-year history. This was a heinous and unthinkable act of aggression against our officers and the entire metro community. As we all try to comprehend what has transpired and mourn the impact on our team and the entire community, we are bracing for extremely difficult days ahead,” Fargo Police Chief Dave Zibolski said.
Witnesses said a man opened fire on police officers before other officers shot him around 3 p.m. on Friday. Shortly afterward, officers converged on a residential area about 2 miles away and evacuated residents while gathering what they said was evidence related to the shooting.
The police are baffled and have no idea why Mohamad Barakat would do such a thing. There is no hint in either article below that anyone is considering the possibility that Barakat may have been acting in accord with this exhortation that the Islamic State issued in September 2014:
“So O muwahhid, do not let this battle pass you by wherever you may be. You must strike the soldiers, patrons, and troops of the tawaghit. Strike their police, security, and intelligence members, as well as their treacherous agents. Destroy their beds. Embitter their lives for them and busy them with themselves.”
“If you can kill a disbelieving American or European — especially the spiteful and filthy French — or an Australian, or a Canadian, or any other disbeliever from the disbelievers waging war, including the citizens of the countries that entered into a coalition against the Islamic State, then rely upon Allah, and kill him in any manner or way however it may be….”
“If you are not able to find an IED or a bullet, then single out the disbelieving American, Frenchman, or any of their allies. Smash his head with a rock, or slaughter him with a knife, or run him over with your car, or throw him down from a high place, or choke him, or poison him….”
