Former Soros Spokesperson Could Be The Next Speaker Of The House
The Republican establishment has increasingly lost the confidence of the electorate due to their lack of follow-through on their campaign promises.
The division is so bad the House of Representatives has been without a Speaker for more than 2 weeks.
In a surprise move, Matt Gaetz (R-FL) filed a successful motion to vacate the chair earlier this month. It resulted in Kevin McCarthy being ousted as House Speaker by a 216-210 vote. 8 Republicans voted with all the Democrats to oust the California representative.
In shocking news to conservatives in the party, GOP members secretly voted to remove Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) as a candidate for speaker on Friday.
As the caucus members have been working to develop new candidates to be considered on Monday, a former Soros group spokesperson appears to have the inside track to become the next Speaker of the House.
House Republicans are reportedly supporting Rep. Tom Emmer (R-Minn.). When Republicans gained control of the House in the 2022 midterm elections, Emmer ran for the House Majority Whip, successfully earning the coveted spot once held by Scalise.
Emmer was endorsed by former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.)
“He is the right person for the job. He can unite the conference. He understands the dynamics of the conference. He also understands what it takes to win and keep a majority,” McCarthy said.

McCarthy “forgot to mention” that Emmer was formerly a paid spokesman for the leftist George Soros-funded organization The National Popular Vote initiative.
From the New York Post:
The National Popular Vote campaign launched in 2006 to support efforts to overhaul the Electoral College by passing laws that commit state electors to the candidate who wins the national popular vote.
About five years after the initiative’s launch, Emmer took a job as one of the group’s paid spokespeople.
“I believe it’s going to end up favoring Republicans … if you believe in our message,” Emmer said in a 2011 video interview posted on the website of Pennsylvania public affairs firm Triad Strategies.
Former President Donald Trump opposed Emmer’s nomination as House Speaker in private discussions with the Republican caucus, according to reports.
“Trump on Friday privately expressed his opposition to supporters. Citing persons familiar with the discussions, the outlet relayed Trump’s concerns that Emmer did not hold a favorable opinion of him, had criticized him for the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, and did not come to his defense amid the multiple criminal indictments he faces,” Just The News reported.
A senior advisor for Kari Lake, Caroline Wren, told Steve Bannon that a voter for Tom Emmer is a vote for Jack Smith’s investigation.
