DOJ Considers Searching Additional Locations Linked To Joe Biden For Classified Docs

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is considering searching more locations linked to Joe Biden for classified documents, according to a new report.

The potential for additional searches comes as the DOJ scoured Biden’s Wilmington residence Friday and found six more items consisting of classified marking, according to Biden’s personal attorney Bob Bauer.

Bob Bauer said the search lasted about 13 hours.

The Justice Department “took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President’s service in the Senate and some of which were from his tenure as Vice President,” Bauer said in a statement.

Investigators also “took for further review personally handwritten notes from the vice-presidential years,” he said.

The content of the classified materials is unknown.

The White House had previously claimed on January 14 that all searches for all classified documents were completed.

The trove unearthed Friday is in addition to the about 25 classified documents found by Biden’s personal attorneys in past weeks at the Penn Biden Center and Biden’s residence.

The classified documents were initially unearthed by Biden’s personal attorneys on November 2, days before the midterm elections.

Biden stated Thursday he had “no regrets” about mishandling classified materials and claimed there was “no there there.”

“We’re fully cooperating, looking forward to getting this resolved quickly,” Biden said. “I think you’re gonna find there’s nothing there. I have no regrets. I’m following what the lawyers have told me they want me to do. That’s exactly what we’re doing. There’s no there there.”

White House officials are reportedly suspicious about how Biden’s classified document scandal was leaked to the press after only a select group of White House and DOJ officials knew about the violation.

The Washington Post reported the White House and DOJ agreed to hide President Joe Biden’s classified document scandal from the American people until it leaked to the press, despite their repeated claims of transparency.

This comes as the DOJ continues to investigate whether Biden and his son, Hunter, violated federal conflict-of-interest laws when Hunter served on the board of a Ukrainian energy company while his father was vice president.

The DOJ has already searched one location linked to Joe Biden – a storage locker belonging to his former business partner, Tony Bobulinski. But now, they are reportedly considering searching additional locations, including homes and offices belonging to Biden allies.

If additional classified documents are found at any additional locations, it could be damning for Joe Biden’s presidential campaign. So far, he has denied any wrongdoing in relation to Hunter’s work in Ukraine.
