CNN Commentators – Herschel Walker “An Insult to Black Community”

The Democratic party has a long history of racism, starting with “purchasing” African slaves for forced labor on their cotton and other plantations.

Abraham Lincoln eventually led Republicans in the North to fight against the Southern racists with 360,222 Americans laying down their lives to put an end to slavery, at least externally.

Following the end of the Civil War, Democrats still held their racist hatred against the then Constitutionally protected former slaves.

They established Jim Crow laws which were a collection of state and local statutes that legalized racial segregation.

“Named after a Black minstrel show character, the laws—which existed for about 100 years, from the post-Civil War era until 1968—were meant to marginalize African Americans by denying them the right to vote, hold jobs, get an education or other opportunities. Those who attempted to defy Jim Crow laws often faced arrest, fines, jail sentences, violence, and death.”

Progressive Democratic President Roosevelt signed the Wagner-Steagall Housing Act into law on September 1, 1937. The new law established the United States Housing Authority (USHA) which provided $500 million in loans for low-cost housing projects across the country, especially in poor urban areas. To many conservative black American commentators, this was the creation of post-Civil War plantations.

In his January 1964 State of the Union address, President Lyndon Johnson proclaimed, “This administration today, here and now, declares unconditional war on poverty in America.” In the 50 years since that time, U.S. taxpayers have spent over $22 trillion on anti-poverty programs.

Adjusted for inflation, this spending (which does not include Social Security or Medicare) is three times the cost of all U.S. military wars since the American Revolution. Yet progress against poverty, as measured by the U.S. Census Bureau, has been minimal, and in terms of President Johnson’s main goal of reducing the “causes” rather than the mere “consequences” of poverty, the War on Poverty has failed completely. In fact, a significant portion of the population is now less capable of self-sufficiency than it was when the War on Poverty began.

Fast forward to December 7, 2022, anyone in the black community who takes a stand against the Democratic establishment’s failing policies is considered to be a sell-out to their race, and according to those who making a ton of money from keeping racism front and center, an insult to the black community.

CNN political commentator and Communist gaslighter Van Jones said Tuesday on CNN, that former President Donald Trump picking Georgia Republican Senate nominee Herschel Walker was an insult to black voters.

Jones said, “What I do know is this, tonight is about Georgia. And tonight is about Trump picking somebody who frankly used to be a hero – Herschel Walker used to be an inspiration, now it means insult. He’s an insult to the black community.”

“What you may see tonight is people coming out, not just to vote in favor of a senator they love but just to vote against Donald Trump picking somebody like this and throwing this person at the voters in Georgia. Like you’ll just pick anybody who is black,” Jones added.

He added, “His judgment, Trump’s judgment tonight, is going to be, I think, called into question by a lot of people. And I think that when you have a situation where it’s obvious that Trump, he was a little too clever by half. ‘I know, I’m going to put a black guy against a black guy,’ but the guy he picked was the wrong black guy.”

Political commentator Ashley Allison said, “I think if you are Herschel Walker, you are an insult to the black voters of Georgia. And honestly, I mean, I’m not a Republican, but it would be an insult to me as a Republican to think that this is the type of person that I actually want to send to the United States Senate.”
