The idea of fair elections, one vote per one person used to be a widely accepted idea.
The left has been fighting feverishly to get legislation passed that would loosen existing voting requirements, such as Voter ID, all in the name of preventing the “suppression of minority voting”. Even though there is no proof of this taking place, the race card still carries some political clout.
As with other issues though, the left is always willing to bend the rules when it advances their cause.
For example, in California wealthy “white” men are spending millions of dollars trying to prevent Gavin Newsome from being recalled. They are in effect trying to buy their desired election outcome, helping the worse governor in the US to stay in office.
Newsom has a significant cash advantage over his rivals, according to Fox News. He has enjoyed donations from stalwarts such as Soros and wealthy donors such as Reed Hastings, Netflix CEO.
These wealthy leftists have been increasing their donations as the recall election is shaping up to be closer than what many originally anticipated. Polls show that Larry Elder is slightly ahead of the incumbent Newsom less than two weeks ahead of the California recall.
Netflix founder and co-CEO Reed Hastings is spending $3 million to shield Gov. Gavin Newsom from a recall vote in a demonstration of the enormous sums Newsom’s allies could marshal in his defense, according to a state filing today.
The massive outlay makes Hastings by far the largest donor to Newsom’s recall campaign. Under California rules, Newsom can raise unlimited sums to fend off a recall effort that will likely land before voters in the fall, while other gubernatorial candidates are subject to campaign limits of $32,400 per election in their direct accounts. That’s because the law treats Newsom’s fight against the recall as a ballot issue rather than a candidacy.
George Soros contributed another $500,000 dollars to an organization supporting California Gov. Gavin Newsom in the recall election, campaign finance reports show, according to Fox News.

Additionally, Newsom has received contributions from wealthy elites such as San Francisco 49ers CEO Jed York, agricultural giants Stewart and Lynda Resnick, and Hollywood film director J.J. Abrams.
As a conservative in California, who has already voted for Larry, I would very happy to see Newsome go.
The reality is, with the illegal aliens voting “illegally”, the liberals counting the votes and the wealthy buying the results, I don’t expect Newsome to be replaced, but not because he doesn’t deserve it.
