Another Biden Blunder: ‘I Want to Start Off With TWO Words – Made In America’
While delivering remarks on the economy after touring the Volvo Group Powertrain Facility in Hagerstown, Maryland, President Joe Biden delivered a gaffe that would give a kindergartner pause.
Joe was fired up —maybe he just temporarily forgot how to count when he kicked off the remarks with this gem:
“Let me start off with two words: made in America”
C’MON, JOE! That’s THREE words! You’re steering economic policy for Pete’s sake.
This is unfortunately not uncommon in occurrence for the 79 years old declining lifetime politician.
A few weeks ago Biden asks if a dead congresswoman is in a crowd during a speech.
Joe Biden asked if a late congresswoman, who died in a car crash last month, was in the audience as he addressed a crowd.
The US President was speaking at an event about tackling hunger, which had been organized by politicians including Jackie Walorski, a Republican congresswoman from Indiana.
Biden said: “Jackie, are you here? Where’s Jackie? I think she was going to be here.”
The crash on Aug 3 was highly publicized, and Mr. Biden had issued a statement at the time. In it, he said: “She was respected by members of both parties for her work on the House Ways and Means Committee.”
Two of the congresswoman’s staff also died in the crash, including the driver Zachery Potts. It happened in the Indiana district Ms. Walorski represented. She had joined three other members of Congress to organize the conference on hunger at which Biden was speaking.
