Biden Blames Staffers For His Illegal Possession Of Classified Documents
On August 8th, 2022, FBI Agents searched former President Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago property.
Trump called it a “siege,” a “raid,” a modern-day Watergate, complete with nefarious safecrackers.
Florida Gov. Rick DeSantis darkly suggested the Biden administration — or “the Regime,” as he phrased it — had seconded law federal enforcement to target its political opponents and that this meant the United States was now a “Banana Republic.”
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., who has been quoted saying that she is not sure that al-Qaida carried out the 9/11 attacks and has flirted with the belief that the U.S. government is controlled by a Satanic pedophile cult, had a three-word response: “Defund the FBI!”
The left went nuts demanding an investigation into how classified documents ended up at Trump’s property. They were convinced that the leader of the MAGA movement criminally broke document handling regulations and should be prosecuted.
In addition, there were calls for Trump to be prevented from running for office again.
On August 11th, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that he appointed veteran prosecutor Jack Smith as special counsel for two ongoing federal investigations involving former President Donald Trump, just days after Trump announced his reelection bid.
The problem for those with Trump Derangement Syndrome is their mentally declining leader Joe Biden has also been found to have unauthorized classified at several locations, killing their momentum in getting criminal charges filed against Trump.
On January 12th, Richard Sauber, a special counsel for Biden, confirmed in a statement that “a small number” of records with classified markings were discovered from his time as vice president.
“All but one of these documents were found in storage space in the President’s Wilmington residence garage,” he said. “One document consisting of one page was discovered among stored materials in an adjacent room.”
President Joe Biden passed the buck to his former staffers on Wednesday blaming them for not being thorough enough in packing up his old offices. He insisted their carelessness resulted in multiple classified documents being discovered in the garage at his Delaware home.
“One of the things that happened is that what was not done well is, as they packed up my offices to move them, they didn’t do the kind of job that should have been done to go thoroughly through every single piece of literature that’s there,” Biden told PBS NewsHour in an interview the day after he delivered the State of the Union address.
The Hill reports he also said he thinks investigators may have “picked up” items from 50 years ago. Biden did not elaborate on whether those items were classified documents.
“To the best of my knowledge, the kind of things they picked up are things, they’re from 1974, stray papers. There may be something else. I don’t know,” Biden said.
Biden also told PBS he voluntarily allowed the FBI to “come and look and spend hours searching my home. I invited them.”
Former and current Biden administration officials previously blamed the National Archives for mishandling the classified documents found stashed in three separate locations.
