Bail Group Backed by VP Kamala Harris Helped Free Suspect, Who Is Now Accused of Murder

A suspect released with the help of a nonprofit organization operating a Minnesota bail fund endorsed by Vice President Kamala Harris has now been charged with murder.

Shawn Michael Tillman, a repeat felon, shot and killed a passenger on a light rail platform in St. Paul, Minnesota in May after reportedly being released from jail on April 29 for indecent exposure thanks to the Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF).

In June 2020, amid violent riots spurred by the Black Lives Matter movement, VP Kamala Harris urged Americans to donate money to the Minnesota Freedom Fund to help bail out rioters from jail.

The Freedom Fund backed by Harris helped free repeat felon Shawn Michael Tillman after he was arrested for indecent exposure in late April.

Since then, Tillman has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder. According to police, Tillman shot and killed 37-year-old Demitri G. Ellis-Strong at a downtown St. Paul train station. Tillman remains in Ramsey County Jail on a $2 million bail.

NY Post reported:

Just weeks earlier, Howard, a Minneapolis man barred from having a firearm due to previous convictions, was released on Aug. 11 on $1,500 bond in a domestic assault case after being jailed on Aug. 5, Hennepin County records show. He was bailed out by the Minnesota Freedom Fund — which was touted last year by Harris.

The Harris-backed Freedom Fund has also helped the following criminals get out of jail:

• A series of suspects accused of domestic abuse
• A man accused of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl
• A man accused of assaulting and burglarizing a 71-year-old woman
• A man accused of stomping on his victims while robbing them
• A woman accused of stabbing her aunt with a knife
• A man accused of sexually assaulting his 16-year-old niece
• A man accused of molesting his 15-year-old daughter

The fact that Harris and other progressives can virtue signal when it’s politically expedient for their polling, yet not be held accountable for the ramifications of their involvement, is disturbing, to say the least.

But in America 2022, this has become the norm for those that are blindly following the progressive’s drumbeat, even though it is leading the nation towards a proverbial cliff, into cultural anarchy.
