AZ Teacher Mocks Parental Involvement In Curriculum: ‘I Have A Master’s Degree’

The battle for the souls of students continues to rage throughout the United States.

With the infiltration of the education system, by the national teacher’s unions underway, and with liberal educators being backed up by Biden’s Department of Justice, parents who want to know what their local schools are teaching their children are considered to be offensive, even dangerous by liberal educators.

A Facebook post by the Michigan Democratic Party, which they took down after receiving a backlash for the social media users said; ‘Not sure where this “parents-should-control-what-is-taught-in-schools-because-they-are-our-kids” is originating, but parents do have the option to send their kids to a hand-selected private school at their own expense if this is what they desire.’

A teacher speaking out against parental rights legislation in Arizona Wednesday cited her master’s degree while mocking parents seeking involvement in school curricula.

“The purpose of public education is not to teach only what parents want their children to be taught, it is to teach them what society needs them to be taught,” the teacher said, quoting the same Facebook post.

A radical leftist; she flippantly argued “I have a master’s degree,” the teacher said in the video recorded on Feb. 15th.

“Because when I got certified, I was told I had to have a master’s degree to be an Arizona-certified teacher. We all have advanced degrees. What do the parents have? Are we vetting the backgrounds of our parents? Are we allowing the parents to choose the curriculum and the books that our children are going to read?”

The Arizona legislature is considering SB1700, introduced by Republican state Sen. Justine Wadsack and Republican state Reps. Rachel Jones and Cory McGarr.

The bill would allow parents to have the ability to review books and material used in the schools for 120 days before they are available to students, and to allow them to request the removal of books that are “lewd or sexual in nature, to promote gender fluidity or gender pronouns or to groom children into normalizing pedophilia.”

As expected, a pro-grooming organization chimed in trying to tie the parent’s concerns to overt discrimination against those involved in homosexual and “trans” activities.

“This blatantly unconstitutional and viciously transphobic bill would mean the total erasure of trans identity and gender nonconformity from school materials,” Equality Arizona said on their website, where the legislation was labeled “anti-LGBTQ.”

This teacher and radical LGBTQ organization are emblematic of other social justice activists whose ultimate goal is to turn children against parents who hold traditional values, and demand to be involved in the emotional development of their children.

The solution is for concerned parents to increasingly get elected to local school boards, then give any WOKE ideology the boot.
