AOC Claims To Be “Re-Traumatized” By Jan 6 Riot Footage, But Wasn’t There!
One of the most disturbing narratives from the January 6th protests is how some politicians trying to capitalize on and are still promoting the idea that they were personally injured from the events, even though not in the Capitol building at the time.
The far left, exaggerating, green new deal, the world is ending in 12 years, New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has claimed that she was traumatized from events on January 6th, and now claims she has been re-traumatized by viewing a short video.
The problem with her story is AOC wasn’t in the Capitol building at the time it was breached by protestors and rioters on January 6, 2021. She was in the Cannon House Office Building, in her office.
AOC has blasted her colleague Rep. Nancy Mace, saying that she was “dishonest” in “claiming that survivors are exaggerating are the stories of veterans and survivors in my community who deny themselves care they need & deserve bc they internalize voices like hers saying what they went through ‘wasn’t bad enough.
.@AOC made clear she didn’t know who was at her door. Breathless attempts by media to fan fictitious news flames are dangerous.
My office is 2 doors down. Insurrectionists never stormed our hallway. Egregious doesn’t even begin to cover it. Is there nothing MSM won’t politicize? pic.twitter.com/Tl1GiPSOft

In AOC’s Instagram video about the Capitol breach which she created after she was exposed for her false narrative, she blames previous sexual assault for the trauma she experienced in her office, which again was not breached by anyone.
“I’m a survivor of sexual assault,” she said during the nearly 90-minute live video. “And I haven’t told many people that in my life. But when we go through trauma, trauma compounds on each other.”
“This is a masterclass in emotional manipulation,” Michael Tracey, a roving journalist, tweeted. “A genuine political/rhetorical skill. Gotta hand it to her.” Tracey went on to accuse Ocasio-Cortez of “using ‘trauma’ as a cudgel to demand political compliance.”
Austin Peterson, another political commentator, tweeted, “Jussie Smollett’s story was more believable than AOC’s.” Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson mocked Ocasio-Cortez on air.
Now, following the Select Committee Hearings on the events of that January 6th, AOC is claiming to be re-traumatized by the recounts of the day, and has shared her feelings about being made to remember what it was like to hide out in her office and be far from the action.
“Good Lord,” AOC wrote on Twitter. “The way it all comes rushing back into the body. It’s like that day all over again.”
She shared a recording made using a cell phone to record an edited video shown on a television screen. It showed unarmed protestors outside the Capitol facing Capitol Police in riot gear. It cuts to footage of lawmakers and staff evacuating Congress through Rep. Kevin McCarthy’s office.

OAN’s Jack Posobiec called out the neophyte, 2 term congresswoman:
AOC claims to be re-traumatized by Jan 6 riot despite the fact she wasn't therehttps://t.co/xqbOeRhBMe

Regardless of what the truth about AOC really is these days, in the end, it’s what she can convince those who follow her on social media to believe, which then becomes the new truth for millions of uninformed Americans.
