AG Barr Didn’t Launch Any Voter Fraud Investigations In 2020 – New Report Alleges

Until the 2020 elections, former Attorney General William Barr was well respected in the intelligence and political communities.  He was considered to be one who plays by the book, equal justice for all.

Following the disastrous 2020 elections, there was pressure on the DOJ to look into alleged voting irregularities in contested swing states.

This led the acting AG to say any potential fraud should be investigated. Barr issued a memo on November 9, 2020, only days after the 2020 election, that in fact compelled federal investigators to investigate fraud claims.

But in a surprise move, despite the apparent lack of a thorough investigation, Barr quickly declared there was no fraud “on a scale that could have affected the outcome of the election.”

On December 1st, 2020 Barr told the Associated Press

The Justice Department hasn’t found any evidence either.

“To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election,” Barr said.

Barr said that U.S. attorneys and the FBI have looked into specific allegations but that they have found nothing that would affect the outcome of the election.

Well if we fast forward to October 2022, new information obtained via FOIA requests, questions how Barr’s DOJ came up with their assessment.

Jeffrey Clark, formerly an official in the Trump White House, shared some shocking news during his appearance on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” show.

Clark, the Director of Litigation for the Center for Renewing America, said FOIA requests have revealed Barr did not preside over a single investigation despite ordering his subordinates to investigate.

“After Bill Barr had issued a November 9 memo saying that there should be investigations of the election,” Clark explained, “the FOIA document requests have come back with no documents – the null set, Steve – so no investigations were done as a result of that memo.”

He added, “It’s like a kabuki dance, a memo was issued but nothing was actually done about it.”

FOIA, an abbreviation for The Freedom of Information Act, gives any person the right to request access to records of the executive branch of the U.S. Government. Federal agencies are required to disclose any information requested under the FOIA unless it falls under one of nine exemptions.

Clark says his team sent FOIA requests to 12 districts within battleground states, and have received 11 back so far that reveal the absence of any investigation. He is still waiting to hear back from the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, which includes the Democrat stronghold city of Philadelphia.

Barr for various reasons Barr has continued to publically insist the election was not stolen, which has angered Mr. Trump and his supporters. To them, it appears that Barr is working with the establishment to try to discredit the former president leading up to #45 running again in 2024.

In his latest insult to Trump and his supporters, Barr also flippantly dismissed the findings of Dinesh D’Souza and True The Vote, which were presented in the landmark movie “2000 Mules”.

“You know, when I went into this and would, you know, tell how crazy some of these allegations were, there was never, there was never, an indication of interest in what the actual facts were,” Barr said, laughing at the former president.

“My opinion then and my opinion now is that the election was not stolen by fraud,” Barr insisted. “I haven’t seen anything since the election that changes my mind on that, including the ‘2000 Mules’ movie,” Barr added, with more laughter.

For me, the possibility, and in this case, the reality, that our federal elections were compromised is not a laughing matter at all.

As a result of Barr’s actions, my opinion of him has done a 180.

My question at this point is; Is there anyone serving in the DOJ who can be trusted?
