Biden Brushes Hand Against Female Reporter’s Chest During Interview, Claims She Had A ‘Bug’ On Her

In an interview with a female reporter on Wednesday, President Joe Biden got a little handsy and brushed a bug off the reporter’s chest.

The interviewer, Stephanie Abrams, was asking Biden if he was prepared to declare a “national emergency with respect to climate change.”

Biden then mumbled, saying, “We’ve already done that.”

As the two were talking, Biden said to Abrams, “You’ve got a bug on you,” and leaned over to brush the bug off of Abram’s chest.

Abrams quickly said, “Thanks, appreciate it,” and moved on with the interview. “So, you’ve already declared that national emergency?” Abrams said, pressing Biden more.

Biden responded saying, “Practically speaking, yes.”

Biden has been known to be touchy. He nibbled on the shoulder of a terrified small child in July, on the tarmac in Finland.

He has said before that he will be “more mindful” of respecting personal space, but it did not appear that way in the interview with Abrams. At the time when he spoke of the need to give others personal space, he laid the blame on shifting “social norms.”

“[T]he boundaries of protecting personal space have been reset. And I get it. I get it. I hear what they are saying. I understand,” he said in a video posted to Twitter.

In other instances, Biden has declared a ‘climate change’ crisis and has dubbed it an “existential threat to humanity.” He made the remarks in a speech he gave in California in coordination with California Governor Gavin Newsom.

To emphasize to Abrams that his administration is taking action to treat climate change as a crisis-level threat, Biden said, “We’ve conserved more land, we’ve… rejoined the Paris Climate Accords, we’ve passed a $368 billion climate control facility. We are moving. It is the existential threat.”

However, in terms of official declarations for public health, the US Health and Human Services under the Biden administration has yet to make climate change an official “national emergency.”
