Only God can give spiritual life. That truth should not make us passive; it should make us prayerful. When praying for unbelievers, ask God to convict them of sin, reveal Christ, remove blindness, grant repentance, and draw them to saving faith. Pray also for opportunities to speak the Gospel with clarity and courage. Ask the Lord to make your life a faithful witness, not a stumbling block. Evangelistic prayer should be patient, persistent, and rooted in confidence that salvation belongs to the Lord.
