A federal judge has handed President Donald Trump and his administration a significant legal victory in the ongoing battle over election integrity, ruling that key portions of Trump’s executive actions aimed at strengthening voter citizenship verification and restricting mail-in ballot practices may proceed.

John Calvin often emphasized that civil government exists to preserve order and restrain corruption within fallen humanity. Calvin wrote that magistrates are “guardians and vindicators of public innocence, modesty, decency, and tranquility.”
