The Marriage Reset
OPTIONAL LEADER RESOURCE

Leader Guide — Church Use

A practical ministry guide designed to help pastors, churches, counselors,
men’s ministries, and marriage leaders facilitate The Marriage Reset experience with couples.

Purpose Of This Guide

The Marriage Reset was created to help couples slow down, reconnect intentionally,
strengthen communication, rebuild emotional trust, and pursue healthier Christ-centered marriages.

This optional leader resource exists to help churches and ministry leaders guide couples through the process with wisdom, structure, encouragement, and biblical clarity.

This guide may be useful for:

  • Marriage ministries
  • Pastors and church leaders
  • Small groups and discipleship programs
  • Marriage retreats and workshops
  • Biblical counselors and mentors
  • Christian coaching environments

The goal is not to create perfect marriages. The goal is helping couples move toward healthier patterns, stronger communication, greater intentionality, and biblical unity.

Facilitation Principles

Encourage honesty without humiliation, blame, public embarrassment, or unnecessary pressure.

Lead With Grace & Truth

Hold firmly to biblical truth while remaining compassionate, patient, and wise in difficult situations.

Couples need more than inspiration. Encourage consistent habits, communication, and intentional follow-through.

Avoid Superficial Fixes

Strong marriages are not built through emotional hype alone. Long-term rebuilding requires ongoing intentional investment.
